ROD - Registrar of Deeds. A formal decision document which is recorded for the public.

UCC - Uniform Commercial Code. This is a legal form that a creditor files to give notice that it has or may have an interest in the personal property of a debtor.

Plats - Cadastral Map. A map, drawn to scale, showing the divisions of a piece of land.

What Do You Need Help With?
Searching By
Instrument Numbers
  • Instrument Numbers are unique keys given to each document.
Name
  • Leave out the following symbols " , ! * . "
  • The term "Smith Deb" matches "Smith Deborah", "Smith Debbie", "Smith Debra" but not "Smith Donna"
  • The term "Smith D" would match all of the above and "Smith D ", "Smith D K"
  • If you are uncertain of the spelling of a name you can perform a very broad search. For example, to find "Schmidt" and "Schmitt" search "Schmi".
  • The full index contains several million records. A very broad search such as only the last name can return tens of thousands of results. It is recommended to narrow your search by including additional information or restricting the date range. Performing many detailed searches will be faster than reading through several hundred pages of results.
Date
  • Click on either date fields to bring up an interactive calendar.
  • Select a date from the calendar or type in a date with the following format: "MM/DD/YYYY".
Document Type
  • Each document is categorized by type.
  • Type in the first few characters of the type's name and select it from the list. For Example, type "a" and a list with all document types that begin with the letter A will appear.
  • To view certain types among the results, click the right pointing chevron at the left of the result table and select document types to display.
Lot, Block, and Addition
  • Leave out the following symbols " , ! * . "
Section, Township, Range
  • Leave out the following symbols " , ! * . "
Plats
  • Plats are ordered alphabetically.
  • Click the letter or # (for numbers) corresponding to the first character of the plat map.
Orders
Purchasing Official Copies
  1. To purchase official copies of a document, perform a search and click the "Add To Cart" button for each document respectively. The selected documents will be listed in your cart menu at the top of the page.
  2. When you are finished selecting documents, click the "Cart" button at the top of the page then click the "Checkout" button.
  3. In the "Cart" window will be a list of all the selected documents. Click "Payment Info" to proceed.
  4. In the "Payment Info" window, type in the requested information. All fields must be filled out.
  5. Your payment information will not be saved.
  6. Click the "Next" button when finished.
  7. In the "Review" window, the type of card with last four digits, number of documents, and total price will be shown. If you are logged in, your email address will also be listed. If you are not logged in, please type in an email address for the document delivery.
  8. When you are finished reviewing your transaction, click the "Submit" button.
  9. If your transaction is successful, a receipt will be presented with a link to download your purchased documents. A copy of this receipt will also be Emailed to you.
Transaction History
  1. To view your transaction history, login and navigate to the account page by logging in and then clicking "My Account" button in the account menu.
  2. Click the "Transaction History" header.
  3. Your transactions will be shown and can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate icon.
Accounts
Create An Account
  1. Click the "Login" button at the top right of your screen.
  2. Click "Register" in the login window.
  3. Type in the corresponding information.
  4. When finished, click "Create" at the bottom of the register window.
Update Your Account
  1. To update your account's information, navigate to the Account page by logging in and then clicking "My Account" button in the account menu.
  2. Under the "Account Information" window, your username, first and last name, and email address will be shown.
  3. To update, clear the field and then type in your desired changes.
  4. Click the "Update" button to finalize your changes.
Recover Your Account
  1. To recover your existing account, click the "Login" button at the top right of the page.
  2. Next, click the "Forgot Password?" button.
  3. Type in the email address associated with your account and click the "Request" button.
  4. An email will be sent to the provided email address with a link to change your account's password.
  5. Once you have received the email, copy and paste the link into the address bar of your Internet browser.
  6. After the new page has loaded, type in a new password and click "Update". The page will refresh back to the home screen.
Change Your Password
    Using the Account Page
  1. Navigate to the account page by logging in and then clicking "My Account" button in the account menu.
  2. Under the "Account Information" window, type in your old password and new password into their respective fields.
  3. Click the "Update" button to finalize your changes.
    Using the Account Menu
  1. Click the "Account" button at the top right of the page.
  2. Next, click the "Change Password" button.
  3. Type in your old password then a new password.
  4. Click the "Change" button when finished.
